Do lash extensions damage my natural lashes?

Absolutely not! This is the biggest misconception when it comes to lash extensions. When properly applied, extensions should never cause damage to your natural lashes. I pride myself in going above and beyond to take the condition and natural lash length into consideration when selecting extensions that will work best for you and encourage healthy lash growth.

Why are my natural lashes falling out with the extension?

Don’t panic! Eyelashes have their own 90 day shedding cycle, similar to your eyebrows or your hair. On average, you will naturally shed 3-5 lashes per day, which is why it is important to come in for your lash fill appointment within 2-3weeks.

What does a “lash fill” entail?

A lash fill consists of cleaning your current set, and filling in the gaps with new, fresh lashes. This means removing the grown out and twisted lashes, and replacing them with brand new fans or single extensions - whichever will compliment the look you are going for best!

How long will my full set last?

Lash extensions can last indefinitely with consistent fills, proper care and absolutely no oil based products near the eyes. In a case where you are not getting regular fills, you can expect your lashes to last about 4-6 weeks.

How do I properly care for my lashes?

To get the most out of your lash extensions, it is extremely important to ensure you are not using any oil based products or makeup near your eyes (makeup remover, mascara, eyeliner, etc.). To clean your lashes, please use a foaming lash extension shampoo then rinse with water and gently massage into your lashes. Then, use spoolie to brush through lashes and blow dry on a “cool” setting to ensure they do not trap water. This will keep them clean and fluffy!

What is Brow PMU?

Microblading is a two step process of semi-permanent, hair like strokes that create desired fullness and enhanced shape to your natural brow. Full, defined brows not only frame your face, but can make you look more awake, and (a side affect most of our microblading clients love) look younger!

Powder Brows is a brow shading process with a machine to give off more makeup shaded look to last ! Many know this service as “Ombre Brows”

Does Permanent Make up hurt?

The process of microblading is a little uncomfortable for some and can best be described as a scratching feeling. However, we provide a numbing cream to help take the edge off, and suggest taking an advil about 30 minutes before the procedure to manage any discomfort!

How long does Brow PMU services last?

After your initial microblading session, it is required that you schedule a “re-touch” within 4-6 weeks. This seals the color, allowing it to last anywhere from 1-3 years. The main factors that determine the longevity of the retention are skin types, age, metabolism, medications, and pigment color.

Will I need to take time off work after microblading?

While there is no actual downtime associated with permanent makeup, each person deals with change to their face differently. There is typically some slight redness, which dissipates after a couple days, and brows are darker the first few days when they are fresh as well. This isn’t anything major that should prohibit you from normal daily life, but if you’re self conscious, you may prefer to have a few days to yourself while they’re healing.
