Hi! My name is Melanie Saavedra, CEO and owner of Lux Beauty. What you may know about me is that I love making women feel beautiful, empowered, and confident. The reason behind this is so much deeper than just lashes, and that is why I am so passionate about every aspect of what I do.
Being not only a first generation business owner, but a first generation high school graduate, nothing in my life has come easily. From negative self image to generational fears of not being good enough, I have had to fight every day to get a chance at providing a better future for myself.
I write this to you today proud of who I am, what I’ve overcome, and the future I’ve begun to pave for myself. I committed to holding myself at a level of integrity and excellence in my work, and also to being a leader in this community so that other women who have overcome adversity can have confidence in themselves, their worthiness, and the success that is to come. Because if I got through it, so can you.
I am thankful for each and every client that sits in my chair and every student that I get the privilege of mentoring. I love welcoming new ladies into my #LuxBeautyBabe family, and can’t wait to hear your story as well!
